Places To Go During Your Stay in Greers Ferry

Established in the 1870s, the town of Mountain View, AR is famous for the preservation of folkways and traditional music. Less than an hour drive from the Inn. Be sure to visit the world famous Dulcimer Shop and listen to the free folk music in the town square on weekends.
A very unique natural stone bridge located in the Ozark National Forest. The 1.1 mile easy/moderate trail offers access and views of the arch. The arch of the Natural Bridge spans 130 ft. and is approximately 20 ft. wide.

Across the street from the resort is the Devils Fork Recreation Area, a state operated park. They have a boat launch there. Janssens Lakefront has fine dining and also has a boat dock where you can moor and walk up to enjoy lunch or dinner and a cold one.

There are two bridges in town that cross the lake. The closest to you is called the Edgemont Bridge. On the other end of town is the Narrows Bridge. Crossing it ahead of you and about 1 mile on the right is the main Post Office.

You can shop for groceries in town at the Family Market or cross the Edgemont bridge toward Janssens and go about 5 miles to Craven Foods on your right, which also has beer and wine. For liquor keep going past Cravens, about 7 miles and turn left on Hwy 330. When you come to the 4 way stop you'll see the liquor store on the left.
